Rebecca Lupton is a photographer based in Manchester, UK.

She specialises in natural commercial portraiture, documentary and lifestyle photography.


Clients include: The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, The FT, Wardour Publishing, The Big Issue in The North, The British Heart Foundation, The British Red Cross, Manchester International Festival, Water Aid, Manchester University, Marie Claire, Waitrose.    

Originally from Preston, Lancashire, Rebecca studied a Photography BA at Manchester Metropolitan University and has lived in the city ever since. Rebecca’s personal work centres around storytelling and documenting experiences.

In her socially-engaged and self-initiated photography projects, Rebecca works with communities to produce collaborative artworks in reflective longer-term documentary work. In her longest running personal project, ‘The Mothers Project CIC’ (www.the-mothers.co.uk), Rebecca has collected the stories of over 200 mothers which explore the theme of motherhood.
